For numeracy we have been doing area and perimeter it was really hard but we had a group to work in.

For writing we have been doing mummies explanations we also made a objects one it was about parts and other stuff about       mummies we had a website that we used and we were not aloud to ctrl c any of it.

Big day out Reflection T3 W8

Yesterday we had big day out. we went to the movies the recreation center also the swimming pool in that order.

First we went to the movies and we watched  Pete's dragon. To be honest it was sad because I cried but it was a great movie I loved the movies it was really fun.      

Second we went to the recreation center we played lots of games my favorite  game was badminton and basket ball because I was really good at badminton. 

last of all we went the pool and we had some food to eat and have a play on the playground and had a bog swim and we were aloud to go on the hyroslide.

Te Reo- Every day on Tuesday we do Te Reo  and we did an activity about 2 people that talk in Te Reo.

This is my literacy follow up its about authors purpose and its about if the reader is trying to entertain, inform or persuade us in the book. 

This is also sort of the same but you got the choice if we were going to write about  goosebumps , Butterflies or felling nervous I chose felling nervous well we got to use a book to help us.

For maths we have been learning about fractions we had two activity to do they were both quite changeling because i'm not the best at fractions.

For topic we have had to do pick a machine that is in your house I did a toaster this was hard because we were not aloud to research any thing so you had to no quite a bit.       

How a toaster works

A toaster is something made out of hot wire medal you cook your toast in the toaster to make it yummy and crunchy.  All you do is push the pedal down to cook your toast.

A toaster is use for toast and sometimes different stuff first you get the bread and put it in the toaster and pull the pedal and you wait for about 3 minutes. And then it pops out and you have a yummy and crunchy piece of toast.

You can push down a button to make your toast to come out earlier and it will pop out.  

A toaster looks like some sort of square it has a plug.And they come in different colors.  

Electric parts

When you look inside of a toaster when it's on you can see orange lines in the sides. Which is used to make the toast hot and brown that's how you make your toast.

Did you know that if you put metal ect in a toaster when it is turned on at the wall because you will get electrocuted?

Also for topic we are learning about how to be an explorer we had to do 5 reasons of what we thought was a explorer.

Reason 1: Because Maybe they want to explore the world and find out interesting things about different places.

Reason 2: They would probably want to find out about new cultures and things that don’t happen in your country.

Reason 3: Because they want to see different animals and explore what animals eat and what their prey is.

Reason 4: Because they might want to find out about insects and things that live in the woods         

Reason 5: They might want to just have fun and explore everything and find out interesting things!
